I would personally like to thank all those that supported us, believed in us , and stood by us through this past AME Election. In the past couple of months we worked hard together to accomplish something great and we did…we built a strong foundation for the future.
This is the just the beginning, and we will be here to finish what we started.
Again thank you for all the support.

WE THANK YOU AND IT'S NOW UP TO YOU
It has been very gratifying to hear that people want Linda and I as the team to best lead this Union in the coming year. The overwhelming support that we have been receiving is greatly appreciated and be assured that we will do everything possible to best represent your needs and concerns. We have always advocated for the member’s best interests at Lobbying Days in Albany, at Legislative meetings, as Officers elected by our units’ members, and as fellow colleagues, regardless of title and position.
The ballots were mailed Friday and a lot of you have expressed your commitment and support to vote for us in spite of information that we don’t have a full slate, or by voting for us you will be “splitting the vote”. Our philosophy is simply, “How can we expect to unite 8,000 members if we can’t unite and work with 8 members of an Executive Board?” We sincerely feel and believe that most of the other people running for office care about the membership, and therefore, do not see a problem with being able to work with them for the benefit of all of us. As long as all candidates truly have the members' best interests at heart, as Linda and I have demonstrated, how could there be any problem in working together?
You should also be assured that a vote for us is a vote for us, and not anyone else.
We would like to take this opportunity to apologize and send our regrets to all the members we have been unable to meet with. We have really tried to arrange to meet with every single member and despite our best efforts have unfortunately been unable to do so. We would like you to please feel free to continue communicating with us by e-mail (johnjsarno@yahoo.com) with all your questions and concerns.
The direction this union takes in the next three years is in your hands. We encourage you to vote for the people who best represent your concerns. And again, WE APPRECIATE YOUR VOTE.
Please check back with us at http://www.jjsarno.blogspot.com/ right up until April 20th, 2009 for last minute updates.

YOUR SUPPORT IS APPRECIATED
So many people have contacted us wishing to help and make donations so we can get our message out that I have set up a P.O. Box for that purpose. Please send your donations to JOHN J. SARNO @ P.O. Box 744, Farmingville, New York 11738. To everybody who has donated so far, THANK YOU. We will be sending out a mailing shortly and look forward to meeting with all of you during the many site visits which are now being arranged. Dates and times will be posted here as soon as they are confirmed. Linda and I appreciate your support and look forward to representing you.

We heard you and that is why we've decided to run.
Many members have spoken up and have asked for a change. The County, State, and even the Country have seen the need for a change over the past couple of years. We also can not continue in the direction we are now heading. We all know that there are some hard times ahead but I, for one, am not ready to just “throw in the towel”.
A leader in a “Union” means having the ability to work with everyone towards a common goal. Linda and I are ready, willing, and able to work with anyone who has the members’ best interests at heart. We do not need to have a “FULL SLATE”. Elect us and we will work together with the other elected officers as a team for the benefit of us all.
